Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ffuffix.com and every feature, account and service offered through it (together, the "Service"), operated by ffuffix ("we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law of your country requires a higher age to consent to the processing of your personal data, to create an account. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your account
You are responsible for all activity that takes place through your account and for keeping access to it secure, including access to the email address or Google account you sign in with. Tell us at support@ffuffix.com as soon as you become aware of any unauthorised use.
Each account is for one person. You may not sell, transfer or share your account, or create accounts in order to get around a limit, a restriction or an enforcement action.
Your username must follow the Community Guidelines. We may change or reclaim a username that is misleading, impersonates someone, infringes someone's rights or otherwise breaks these Terms.
3. What is public
Your username and profile picture are always public, including when your profile is set to private. Notes you post to the wall are public and are shown with your username and profile picture. Setting your profile to private hides your friends list and your other profile details from other people; it does not hide anything described as public in this section.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and format that content for the purpose of operating, providing and improving the Service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies that remain in backups until those backups expire.
You are solely responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights needed to post it. We are not obliged to host any content, and we may review, hold back or remove content at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Adult content is not allowed anywhere on the Service, nor is any misuse or abuse of our systems. The Community Guidelines set out in detail what is and is not allowed, and apply to everything you post and do on the Service.
6. Enforcement and appeals
If we believe, in our sole discretion, that an account or its content breaks these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or puts the Service or its users at risk, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or permanently ban the account, immediately and without prior notice or explanation. Creating another account to get around a suspension or ban is itself a violation.
If you believe we made a mistake, you may appeal by emailing support@ffuffix.com from the address associated with your account. We will review appeals in good faith, but the outcome is at our discretion and our decision on an appeal is final.
7. Keeping and deleting accounts
We keep accounts for as long as they remain in use. To protect your privacy, we may permanently delete an account and its associated data after an extended period of inactivity.
You may ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@ffuffix.com from the address associated with it. We may ask you to confirm the request before acting on it. Once confirmed, we will delete your account, your profile and the notes you have posted within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep certain information. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
8. Maintenance of stored data
To keep the Service secure, up to date and free of errors, we may migrate, restructure or convert the data we store. We make reasonable efforts to keep your data's original values when we do so, but we cannot guarantee that every piece of data will be kept in exactly its original form.
9. Access by other software
Software or services we offer in the future may be able to use your account data to make them easier to use. They will only have access to your account data if you explicitly authorise it, and you may withdraw that authorisation at any time.
10. Changes to the Service
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where a change materially affects your account, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know in advance.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines from time to time. The date at the top of each document shows when it last changed. By continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect, you accept the updated documents. If an update changes how we collect, use or share your data, or otherwise materially affects your rights, we will tell you, for example by asking you to review and accept the updated documents the next time you sign in.
12. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, or that any content will be preserved.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.
14. Ending your use of the Service
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may end your access at any time in the circumstances described in section 6. Sections 4, 6, 12, 13 and 15 continue to apply after your use of the Service ends.
15. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
